Description
Group lockout key storage
The Large Group Lockout Lock Box provides a central location for equipment isolation keys during group maintenance work. Workers can attach their individual safety padlocks to the box as part of the site’s lockout tagout (LOTO) procedure.
Features and specifications
- Up to 13 lockout points for workers to attach their individual lockout safety padlocks.
- Powder coated steel construction.
- Dimensions: 180mm (w) x 220mm (l) x 150mm (h).
- Red box with a carry handle and visible lockout safety labelling.
Using a group lockout box
Under a group lockout procedure, equipment is isolated and locked out before the isolation lock keys are placed inside the box. Each participating worker then attaches their personal safety padlock to secure access to the keys. Follow your site’s procedures for verifying isolation, applying and removing locks, and returning equipment to service.
The box supports group lockout key control; it does not replace equipment isolation devices or verification of isolation.
